Precautions & Contraindications
Schisandra is not recommended for people who have epilepsy, high intracranial pressure, gastroesophageal reflux disease, or peptic ulcers
May interact with medications metabolized by CYP2C9 liver enzymes. This herb may also reduce the effects of anticoagulant drugs, such as warfarin (Coumadin).
It is not recommended for women who are pregnant or nursing
Usage
Powder: 250-500mg a day
Infusion: 2 tablespoons twice daily
Tincture: 1:2 20-30 drops twice daily
